A Little Bit About Me
Hello, my name is Freya. I'm a Southsea based artist and photographer with a passion for capturing real moments and making those memories last forever.My photographic work covers subjects such as music, events, portraits, animals and sports.All of my previous experience in different settings has made me able to adapt successfully to different situations, enabling me to continuously create high-quality and authentic images.As an artist, I enjoy exploring all forms of creativity beyond my camera. I'm able to use a wide variety of different techniques and materials such as paint, pencil and pen to create personal and expressive pieces.Working across both photography and art allows me to combine all of my technical skills and knowledge into work which is thoughtful, engaging and distinctive!
Sports Photography
Sports photography is all about capturing the intense emotions, passion and movement within a moment. From fast-paced action to quieter, more focused moments, I aim to tell a story through my lens, preserving the energy and atmosphere of every event. I focus on capturing the determination, reactions and details that make each sporting moment unique. For me, sports photography is about more than simply documenting what happens; it’s about creating powerful images that allow people to relive the excitement, emotion and atmosphere long after the moment has passed.

My football photography captures the action, emotion and atmosphere of the game, focusing on decisive moments and authentic storytelling.From women's football to match-day atmosphere, I aim to create sharp, engaging images that showcase the passion and intensity of the sport.
Milton Park Skate Jam 2025
Within June 2025, I had done a full session of photography surrounding the Skate Jam. This included taking pictures of all different types of movement, speed and lighting. These shooting conditions have helped me become more confident in my camera and personal skills, capturing the key moments and excitement of the day.
Event Photography
Event and music photography is about capturing the atmosphere, energy and emotion that makes every occasion unique. Through my lens, I aim to document the moments that might otherwise go unnoticed, from the atmosphere of a live performance to the genuine reactions of the crowd.I focus on capturing the connection between artists and audiences, the details of the setting and the spontaneous moments that bring an event to life. For me, it’s about telling the story of each experience through my images, preserving the feeling of being there and allowing those moments to be revisited long after the event has ended.
Paramour UK - Pitt St Send It 100
These photographs were taken at Send It 100 in Portsmouth, a live music and extreme sports festival which celebrated 100 years of Portsmouth as a city. These images capture the tribute band Paramour, focusing on the aesthetic of their performance, their stage presence and the atmosphere that they created throughout the show.I aimed to capture the energy, personality and visual character of the band, using composition, lighting and timing to reflect the feel of the performance. Through these images, I wanted to preserve not only the moments on stage but also the unique atmosphere that made their set memorable.
Pet Portrait Photography
Here you'll find the most adorable moments which I've had the privilege of capturing throughout my journey so far in being a photographer.Each photo has been taken with the intent of capturing a dogs unique personality, their natural emotions and the connection which they share with their owners - Providing lasting, meaningful memories that owners will treasure for years to come.

Closing Reflections
Creating this portfolio has enabled me to reflect on my growth as both a photographer and artist.Working across music, sports, events and portraits has encouraged me to continue developing my style and learning new skills to help my creative career.I look forward to all of the future opportunities and creating new work which has a story to tell.
